"Good app, but the subscription feels a bit pricey"
so PDF Expert works well for what I need, but the yearly subscription feels a little expensive for how much I actually use it. I really wish they offered a cheaper basic plan...

so... I use PDF Expert mostly for reading through work PDFs and marking them up, and it’s been dependable. Even larger files open quickly for me, and it usually doesn’t slow down much when I’m adding comments or highlights.
The syncing has been solid so far, which is the biggest thing for me. I did have one file take a little longer than expected to show up on another device, but nothing disappeared or got messed up.
I’m giving it 4 stars because it does the job well, but it’s not totally flawless. There are a few small bugs here and there, but overall I trust it enough to use it every day.

"It works fine when I’m just using..."
It works fine when I’m just using it on one device, but trying to switch between my iPad and laptop has been frustrating. Things don’t always sync right, and I end up having to double-check what’s updated. It’s annoying because otherwise I’d probably use it more, but yeah

"Editing tools got frustrating fast"
I got PDF Expert because I mostly needed something reliable for editing and marking up PDFs. At first it seemed fine, but this is where it got annoying: the text edits didn’t always line up properly, and a couple of annotations shifted around after I saved the file.
The highlighting and comments also felt basic for what it costs, and some of my files were slow to open. It might be okay if you only need simple PDF stuff, but for me it ended up wasting more time than it saved. I wouldn’t use it again.

"Support was really slow"
The app itself is fine, but support took days to get back to me about a basic ticket. Waiting that long for simple help was frustrating, that part was weird.
